Very Good

Breakfast was very good. I’m not an enthusiastic breakfast eater but always satisfied. They have always supplied coffee but tea drinking there is a different challenge.

A quieter air conditioning system in the room would be much preferred.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen, da es sich in unmittelbarer Nähe der MRT3-Haltestelle „North Avenue“ befindet (derzeit Endhaltestelle der MRT3-Linie, die von dort Richtung Süden entlang des EDSA-Highway führt). Eine weitere öffentliche Verkehrslinie, LRT1, ist ebenfalls zu Fuß zu erreichen, nur dass die nächste Station „Roosevelt“ Ende November / Anfang Dezember 2021 geschlossen war, sodass der weitere Fußweg bis zur derzeit letzten Haltestelle dieser Linie namens „Balintawak“ etwas dauert. In ca. 30 Gehminuten erreicht man den Ninoy Aquino Park, einen angenehmen Ort mit Tieren und Plätzen für ein Picknick (Essen und Getränke kann man mitbringen) oder einfach zum Ausruhen vom Stadtlärm. Auch der Quezon Memorial Circle, ein weiterer Park, kann zu Erholungszwecken besucht werden und liegt ganz in der Nähe des bereits erwähnten Ninoy Aquino Parks. Aufgrund von Covid-19-Messungen wurde das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstück aufs Zimmer gebracht. Das Hotelpersonal war freundlich zu mir, und ich möchte allen vom Hotelteam sowie dem Sicherheitspersonal danken. An der Rezeption wurde ich von Jonna und den anderen Angestellten an der Rezeption gut behandelt.

Derzeit wird eine neue Linie in der Nähe des Hotels gebaut, die nach meinem Wissen MRT7 heißen wird und Anbindung zu weiteren Orten bietet (ostwärts, aus Quezon City / Metro Manila heraus). Aufgrund der Bauarbeiten hörte ich manchmal nachts Geräusche von draußen.

Good low cost option

Good size clean room with a desk. Fresh decor, reasonably comfortable bed. Interesting theme throughout hotel. Good low cost option with food available. Friendly helpful staff.

Only downside was the particular room we had there was a constant drip of water outside onto the ac unit. This sounded like a hammer from 9.30 pm to 7.30 am. Maybe caused by rain gathering above and overflowing. Would probably stay again but ask for a different room.
